Help with 1999 Chevy Suburban Vortec ?

I am replacing the intake manifold gasket on a 1999 Suburban and my dad took it apart for me and can't remember what is supposed to go in a hole on the drivers side of the upper intake manifold about half way down. It is about an inch and a half size hole that looks like something might slide in there and lock into place. I can't find anything in the parts he gave me that looks like it would go there. Any suggestions for what I might be looking for or where to find an online diagram?

I can't think of the name of it , but i can tell you that the pvc hose runs to it , if i remember right it you twist it in out.
