I have a 2004 Avalanche and periodically when I turn on the A/C the passenger side will blow hot while the drivers side blows cold. If I turn passenger side up to 90 it seems that the hot air shuts down but if I turn the dial back down to 60 it starts blowing hot air at high speed. I noticed that if I turn the controls off and wait a while then turn them back on, alot of the times it starts working correctly on A/C. So I just leave the A/C on all the time and use the temp control to control the temp. This is not right. Can someone tell me what is wrong with this. Is it the temp control unit problem or something else in the dash that regulates the heat/ A/C signal.
