Headlights on a 99 chevy silverado?

Does anybody know how to turn the lights off on a 99 chevy silverado?They are automatic, and would like to be able to temporarily disable them. Thank you.

If you look at the end of the dashboard on the driver's side you will see the cover for the fuse box, just remove it and you should have a fuse in there for your DRL light's that you can remove. By the way there a relay under the hood that you can remove as well.

I have a 98 and the running lights shut off when your ignition is off but their should be a fuse either under your hood or under dash that you can pull or you could put duct tape over running lights that works to

well i have a 98 and the only way you can turn the daytime running lights off is to turn the knob to the parking lights, the position thats between off and the position to turn all the lights on for night driving
