Hi, we have a 2016 Suburban that has dim headlights, enough that other motorists have flashed that they aren't on, but checking that they are indeed on in the auto setting finds the lights are on. Driving the car to the dealership last night un an unlit road, it looked like I had no lights. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there an aftermarket light solution that anyone recommends we switch to? Thanks very much for any help and input.

Why are you going to the dealer? Look at Sylvania Silver Ultra bulbs
We get great service there usually. In the past, when I’ve gone to sell a car, telling the buyer it’s all Chevy service and having the log the dealer can do for me with all service history has been a plus. Thanks for the recommendation, I’ll check those out if the bulb change doesn’t help

Do you know if you have Halogen or HID headlights? Why do it twice plus nobody is going to care if the headlight bulbs were changed by someone other than a dealer.

I had the dealer doing other service so I told them to check the headlights. If it’s not better I’ll look to an aftermarket solution.

Does your Suburban have the "Auto-Dim" feature? This feature is supposed to automatically dim your headlights for oncomimg traffic. If you do have this, the sensor could be blocked, or it could have a light source it is detecting, keeping your lights dim. Check your setings.
