Has aanyone owned a 98 or 2000 chevy malibu?

If the car has the 3.1L v-6 engine, a very common problem with the engines are the intake gasket leaking and it could cost in the area of $300 to $600 to fix depending on where you go. If has already been replaced though, it should last a very long time if it was replaced with the new and improved type of gasket. I work on these types of cars everyday for the past 3 years and they are very good reliable cars. If you take care of it, it will take care of you...like any car.

my grandmother had a 98 and i owned a 2000 malibu, my main problem was that i got a huge hole in the muffler...other than that no problems.
