Anyone have a problem with the sensor in the DEF tank not resetting after you have filled the tank??? Have a 2011 2500HD Duramax that failed to reset and I had to go to the dealership and have them manually clear the codes. $250 charge!!! Not covered by warranty as they claim this is a "maintenance" item. Truck has 48,000 and this is the tenth time I've added fluid. Dealership could not explain why the system failed to reset. Not looking forward to the next DEF fill up.

Is your dealer aware of the TSBs, technical service bulletins, related to the Diesel Exhaust Fluid system?

Wow, just spoke with dealer rep. They are aware of the TSB and contend that the repair of the DEF system is a "maintenance" issue and not a warranty issue. I really like the verbiage "vehicles may experience SCR issues where the DEF system may not operate as intended"!!!!!
