The ETS light is on. What should I be looking for ?
And what causes it.

I do have a bad rear Passenger side speed sensor. Will that set off the ETS?

yes the sensor will set the light on

Thanks for the response. I'm smoggong it now and then will replace that sensor.
Also, will that bad sensor affect the braking? The abs light is on and what I read is that the abs will not function. Be like no abs system. I just replaced the rear shoes. It seems that it had been braking front wheels only because can lock up the front brakes very easily. Is this related or do I need to readjust the rear shoes again

the sensor will not effect non-abs braking. The shoes after the initial adjustment should be self adjusting when the parking brake is applied. If the adjuster is not clean or rusty it may not correctly function.
