Hello all, my first post here.
I've been a Chevy fan since many moons ago when I was about 8years old and drove in a 4100 with my dad. Anyone remember the 4100 ?
I dream every day of owing a Lumina SS. I know I can never afford one, but I can dream can't I.
Anyway, reason for my post:
I own a 2009 Chevy Spark LT 1.0 with 8000km from new. Nice little car that gets me to work and back. Have no issues with it other than the following:
Whenever I come off the throttle, the engine revs don't fall immediately.
For example: Idle, bring revs to say 3000rpm, take foot off throttle quick; revs stay at 3000rpm for about a second before dropping to normal idle speed.
Or, between up-and down shifts. Eg, changing 2nd to 3rd, clutch in, wait for revs to drop, change gear, clutch out. Very annoying.
It's like that ALL the time. Engine hot or cold makes no difference.
I hope this makes sense to you.
Anyone know what may cause this ?
Kind regards,
Jamie.
