In my 2006 Chevy Suburban, from a dead stop, the engine hesitates briefly be fore returning to normal acceleration; when the car is moving slowly as in slow traffic, rarely when I step on the gas, the engine seems like it wants to stall and the car does not move briefly then it gets back to normal and accelerates smoothly. Any ideas, info? Thanks ahead of time.

1. Do you have a check engine light on?
2. Is the vehicle overdue for any basic maintenance, fuel filter, air filter, spark plugs?
3. Do you ever put any injector cleaner in the gas tank?

Regarding filters, plugs etc., these things have been done but I will definitely try the injector cleaner (don't know why I didn't think of it). Thanks for responding.:)

other thought is cleaning the throttle body, you didnt answer but I assume you do not have a check engine light on.
