I have a 2006 Malibu Maxx Ltz that recently has developed some electrical issues. Once after starting the car the ABS and Brake light illuminated and stayed on until i powered the car off and on. Frequently when I try to start the car it won't turn over. Everything electrical works at that point. I have changed the starter relay. Periodically I have noticed the clock will loose several hours. On occasion the radio/cd player will have to re-read the already loaded 6 Cd's.

I'm not sure if all these issues are related or they are each a separate problem.

ABS and brake light could be related to a dirty or starting to fail wheel sensor. When the light is on for these systems either a ABS scan tool or an ohmmeter has to be used to determine the exact cause.
When the car wont turnover, you did not mention how you eventually get it started? It could be a poor electrical connection at the battery or at the starter or at the battery ground. It also could be a starter solenoid acting up.
Have you had the battery condition and charging system checked? I believe some stores such as Autozone do free checks.

I am able to get the car started by turning the key to start several times.

in addition to the previous causes for your non-start I would add a bad ignition switch
