draining battery

I have a little problem maybe you guys can help me with.
1975 nova 350 engine, electric fan, electric fuel pump. the problem is when I run the car and stop the battery seems dead if i let it sit for awhile it starts right up.

Have you checked the alternator output? Have you checked the battery voltage when the car doesnt start? Have you checked the battery connections at the battery, at the starter, and at the frame ground?
