with you inside? How do you get out? Looking at pictures of the C6 and I don't see any interior door handles. Everything looks electric. Looks like a problem waiting to happen if the battery dies for some reason. How do you get out? Someone at Chevrolet must have thought of this happening, right?

a car lot i worked at had a bmw with electric door locks (the outside part where you stick the key in was electric to, not manual) the battery died and there was no way to open the car, as the hood only opens from the inside. we had to call the dealer to come open it. i dont know what you were supposed to do if the battery died on the road somewhere. you would think bmw would have thought of that to.

Well to ask a question like this would be for of what reason? Your looking to buy one, or your bored? The door would have a manual handle either push button or actual handle.

All safety features have to have a manual override. For example, Ford has the door handles on the inside unlocking the doors. Chrysler has started doing this as well. GM has manual pull locks that are the power override mechanism.

Maybe manufacturers are getting stupid from what I am hearing.
