So, i know that the chevy malibu and the cutlass from the years 1997-1999 were pretty much the same thing, so i was wondering if anyone knew if these cars had two mufflers or one. I just got my muffler in the back taken off my car, and i was told that my car has two mufflers, and i believed it and from what i could see, there were two mufflers. Because in california, it is illegal to not have a muffler. So, before i drive my car anymore, i just want to confirm with other knowledgeable mechanics or anyone that knows anything about this car. thanks!
