my car says it needs power steering liquid and i bought it but i cant find were it goes.. i went to the chevy dealership to ask and the guy said it was combined with break fluid but i dont know if i should believe him...... thank you
The dash reads POWER STEERING LOW and my wheel has been feeling stuck someitmes when i turn it on.....

it should be labeled just like engine oil or transmition fluid, its normally located pretty close to the steering column, so try looking around that and see if you see it. It will either be a twist off cap with a dip stick attached to it, or a flip plug with a dip stick attached. Hope that helps

look for a black round cap that says "power steering fluid" (twist off) it has a built in gauge so you can tell if it's low by dipping it inside the pump. if there's no liquid on it after you put it back in, it's low.

You may not have a serviceable power steering box. If you have electric power steering there is no fluid resouvare. Your going to have to take it into a chevy Dealer. preferbably not the guy you asked where the fluid goes.

Whoa don't ever mix anything with brake fluid, ever!!

A lot of the newer malibus have electric power steering, and they are known for problems from what I hear ...

What exactly is your dash telling you? Do you have a message center? Or did an indicator come on?
