does anyone know where fuel filter is located on a 2001 chevy suburban?

ok we have been having trouble with our car. it will crank but is skipping missing. cuts off will drive but skips really badly and we dont even know which way to start with this. we were thinking that is was the fuel filter if anyone knows pleas help it would be really appreciated thanks

Your fuel filter is tied to the rear of the frame near your fuel tank. Fuel pump is inside the tank. Check with your local auto parts store. Many of them will scan your computer for free and check for problem codes. I would do that first. While you're there, pick up the repair manual for your truck too. It will tell you how to change the fuel filter as well as other helpful info.

on the left of the motor twords the front near the oil pan the fule pump should be there it is inside the pump itself

left side of the frame rail (drivers side ) mid way back little canister type filter fittings in front and back of it make sure you get the filter put on correctly the arrow on the filter goes with the flow

On the 2001 the filter is on the frame by the fuel tank.
