Disabling Auto Door Lock Feature

Is there any way to disable the auto door lock feature when shifting out of park? I do not want this feature???

What year Equinox do you have? I own a 2007 and this can be disabled by using the driver info buttons on the dash. You can also change the settings when the vehicle is locked or unlocked. ( lights, horn.)

2011 ....I've been through the manual. It talks about which doors to unluck when in park, etc., but nothing on disabling the feature altogether.

This is what I found
Auto Door Unlock
This allows selection of which of the
doors will automatically unlock when
the vehicle is shifted into P (Park).
Press the MENU/SELECT knob
when “Auto Door Unlock” is
highlighted. Turn the knob to select
“All Doors,” “Driver Door,” or “Off.”
Press the knob to confirm and go
back to the last menu.

Turn it off -- but does that just shut off the unlock feature? You're looking to keep your doors unlocked when driving????
