I've been looking to buy a corvette around the year range between 98 and 04 or so, and I keep noticing people saying that they have both the acrylic and painted tops. this leaves me a couple questions:
1) is the acrylic just a giant sunroof, so to speak?
2) this implies that it is a convertible, of sorts? (not as in the top folding back, but you get what i mean)
3) are these known for leaking?
4)are t-tops also available or is this what they are explaining?
also, would you recommend the c5? my budget is about 20 grand so it is right within my budget, but ive seen many C4's for around 10 grand or less, though they are less than visually appealing
