I am getting a Corvette for my 18th Birthday *few monthes* PLEASE IF YOUR GOING TO GO OFF AND SAY I'M TO YOUNG TO HAVE ONE, CAN'T AFFORD IT, BLAH BLAH, GO AWAY
I like the Zo6, but the only thing Is I like Automatics, and they only come as manuals, right? *plus they don't have the opportunity to be a convertible*
what about the C5, or c6?
What is the best Corvette to get in that aspect?
thank you so much :)
Just wanting some help choosing the best Corvette from People with experience or knowledge of them :)
and to Mad Jack, lol I'm a girl, so yeah I guess I'm not man enough

A true high performance Vette needs a manual transmission. If you aren't man enough to handle a stick maybe you should get an Aveo or Cobalt sedan instead.

As to the safety. A local doctor here got one last fall. After about a week he wrecked it. They figure he was going 140+ mph when he left the road. The Vette was unrecognizable, however he came out of it without a scratch.

As to the best Vette, the ZR1 is better than the Z06, however both are the best Vettes made so far and very nice.

What's your budget? C6>>>>>C5 in just about every aspect aside from the ZO6. 2006+ has the 6 speed automatic compared to the 4-speed in '05.

'08 has the LS3 plus a much better steering system.

Either way any C6 will suit your needs. Hit up the link below for more specific questions you might have.

Don't listen to the people that say the 'vette isn't safe because of fiberglass panels. Outer panels aren't supposed to keep you safe, the inner structure/frame is...the vette has a very solid and strong frame...it's fine for you. The only thing that SUCKS is what would normally be parking lot dings are much worse :(

Hey Mad Jack, my C5 is an auto...wanna race? I guarantee you'll see tail lights. ;>)
