I have a Chevy cobalt coupe '09 with the power door lock and windows. Every time I use the key (not the remote) to unlock/lock the doors, the horn starts to beep. If I wait a few seconds or if I push the unlock button on the remote ONCE, the horn starts to beep faster. In order to stop the beeping, I have to push the unlock button two to three times on the remote. Basically what I'm trying to ask is if it is normal for the horn to beep constantly whenever the key (not the remote) is used to lock/unlock the doors. Thanks.
I checked the instruction manual and it didn't say anything about it. I didn't modify the alarm system or even add anything aftermarket to the car.
