Chevrolet Avalanche for a 16 Year Old?

I was looking more at a car and everything, like the 2010 Chevrolet Cruze, but my parents don't want to buy me a new car. They told me that they think it would be best if I just drove one of there vehicles. We have three vehicles; 2007 Cadillac Escalade, 2008 BMW 325i, and a 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche.

All are fairly new vehicles, except that my mom drives the BMW and my dad is always driving the Cadillac. That leaves me with the Avalanche (which don't get me wrong, it's a nice truck) but can a kid my age with no experience handle a truck? My mom can't even drive the cadillac or the truck, so she gets the cars..

Im also 16, and drive a 'lanche, it's a behemoth, kind of a bitch to park, but I love it, as do my friends. what other truck handles similar to a large car, fits 5 in comfort, and can also tear up a field?

You're 16, your parents don't HAVE to buy you a vehicle. If you don't like the choice you have, then get a job and buy what you want. Driving and owning a car is a PRIVILEGE, not a right.
