Im to the point where I hate the Computer Aided Gear Selection (Or CAGS) on my 1994 corvette. I ordered a Skip shift elem the other day, But it was back ordered and going to take a few weeks to get here.

My question is: Where is the wireing plug located at? Im sure it plugs into the transmission, But can I get to it from under the shifter boot or does the car need to be put in the air?

If someone could tell me right where it is located that would be great!

Thanks

It is on the drivers side of the transmission near the top. The car does need to be jacked up to see it. Look for blue and white wires going into it. The harness connector has a little wire clip on it that has to removed before disconnecting it. The place you ordered the eliminator kit did inform you that the 1-4 shift light on the dash will still be lit right? But now the computer won't force the shift and the computer will not show any error codes.
