Can i replace the standard A/C controls for the digital display in a 2004...

...chevy silverado 1500? The standard A/C controls have the two sliding controls (right/driver, left/passenger) and are less appealing to me than the digital display that comes in the LT trims of the truck. I dont even know what the digital display is called. Any replies are appreciated! Thanks.

I do not think it will work. At the least you have to do is rewire. I think it has a different wiring harness
