Do you think this is a good deal for the mileage and other options?

Its a good price and a good car. The model you are looking at has few mechanical issues. I did a Vis or vehicle history for repairs through GM and I don't see any repairs that would cause me to worry. I would recommend the v-6 but this is a good unit.

First I would definitely check the value of the vehicle first before I purchased it. You can go to either of the following but the banks go by the 2nd one listed:

1. www.edmunds.com
2. www.nada.com or www.nadaguide.com
3. www.kbb.com

Good luck and just make sure you are not paying for more than its worth!

Please look at Hondas and Toyotas first. Much better quality and much higher resale value.

Chevy Malibus are great cars and have a great resale value. They get good mileage, have a lot of power and room, look sharp, and drive like a dream. We have had four of them since 1978 and would buy another in a heartbeat. Good luck on your Malibu and thanks for buying American made. Peace.
