I am rebuilding the top end of my 350 in my 1979 corvette. This is my first engine rebuild and I have been doing some research and asking a lot of questions because I am a novice and would like to do the job well. I would like to get somewhere between 300-350hp out of my 350 and have decent low end torque because I will be using it to drive around town, not race. So far these are the parts i am looking into getting:

Holley Street Avenger Carb- 670cfm-4 barrel-electric choke

Edelbrock Performer EPS intake manifold-Dual Plane

Keith Black Pistons-KB120-030- Hypereutectic-Flat-
*I am unsure if these are the type of pistons I would want?

Summit Roller Rockers-1.6 Ratio-

E3 Spark Plugs-Resistor
New Spark Plug Wires
All new gaskets and seals

I am wondering what type of heads would be best for what I want to get out of my engine? I do not know alot about heads except for the fact that they can add a whole lot of power to an engine, So I am lost as to which ones I may need/want.
Also, what type of camshaft would I want to go along with this setup?

Thanks alot for all of your help! Every little bit I can get goes a long way for me.
Thanks,
Jake
Also wondering about a new distributor? Would that be necessary in my situation?
My engine ran well before I started working on it so I am unaware if that should be replaced...
Any other suggestions on things I should change, or other things that may need to be replaced?
Thanks,
Jake

Would my stock Quadrajet Carb be good enough for what I am looking to do? Its a rochester Quadrajet, not exactly sure what the cfm is?
Thanks,
Jake
