According to my 2007's Owner's Manual there is supposed to be a group of open-ended wires for connection to a trailer brake controller. It should be near the diagnostic connector. Should have four wires.
I found a group of four open-ended wires there. Manual says Red/Black is 12 volts, Dark Blue is for the trailer brake, White is ground, and light Blue is stop light.
There was a tag on the four wires that indicated Red/Blk is 12 volts, Dk Blue is trailer brake, Lt Blue is stop light switch, and White is ground. Unfortunately, there is no White wire and no Light Blue wire.
There's a Red/Black but it has no voltage (using a Digital Volt Meter) with the ignition on or off.
There's a Dark Blue wire that shows no voltage and infinite resistance to ground.
There is a pale Green wire that goes to the brake light switch.
There is very small Yellow wire that also has no voltage and does not connect to ground.
I can't find any other wires under the dash anywhere that might be the correct ones.
Any ideas?
