2003 Suburban LT 4wd. 225k

So I replaced tie rod ends, Putnam arm, idler arm and the thing that attaches to on the frame. I also put new skyjacker front shocks, and replaced the premium smooth ride suspension with Bilistien springs and ranchero shocks.

Following the front end parts I had more bump feed back from the steering and that is why I replaced the suspension stuff and they were worn anyway.

This thing now rides worse than it did before all the repairs. I have to really pay attention to the road because it will spring one way or the other on road bumps.

I need some suggestions, one thing of note. The front is resting on the bump stop and I don't recall if it was before. I am wondering as well if it is possible the idler and pitman are wrong sized would cause such a thing. The only other issue is if the tortion bars are worn would this cause the symtoms?

Thanks in advance!

If I understand your post correctly you put Skyjacker shocks in the front and Ranchero shocks in the back and installed Bilstein coil springs in the back. Not sure why you would put two different brand shocks on the same vehicle and obvioulsy if the front suspension is resting on the bump stop you bascically have no suspension at all. The idler and pitman dont control the front ride height the torsion bars do.

Do youself a favor and go to a "good" front end alignment shop. No way to figure ouit what is mis-aligned till it is set back up correct.
