Air conditioning failed

Does anyone know of an ongoing problem with A/C on 2010 Cobalts? I have a 2010 Chevy Cobalt and the air is no longer blowing cold. When testing the freon valve it is coming out but not cold discharge. Happened suddenly. Any ideas?

What does "testing the freon valve" mean? What valve, there is a high side and low side port for testing pressure and charging?

A/C systems are complex. If you don't know what you're doing, leave it to a pro. You could end up screwing something up and cost yourself more money in the long run. I don't know diddly about a/c, so when I have a problem with one, I take it somewhere.

Just yesterday I saw leaking fluid from the ac cooler. The block where the pressure lines attach were covered in yellow fluid. When I moved the hose I heard the ac fluid leaking under pressure. Don't know what the fix is.

Sounds like it's time for a new block and hose. You still need to take it to a shop for proper diagnosis and repair.
