I have an issue with my air bag system on my 08 Silverado. The light just came on and the message said SERVICE AIRBAG SYSTEM. Can anyone help me? I am trying to avoid taking to dealer.

I apologize for your frustrations. My best advice is to take the vehicle to your dealer of choice, even if only to have the vehicle diagnoised. Please keep me updated on your situation.
