Ive heard both good and bad things from an aftermarket cat. Mines was roughly 70$ and i was wondering how long would it last and any other cons that will affect my car.

most aftermarket parts are good and usually have a warranty. Dealerships usually put down aftermarket parts in order to sell factory parts, but if they have to fix a used car, guess what they do?
if you have an unlimited income, go ahead and use factory parts. have you ever wondered what companies make the parts for Chevy, for example? they do not make all the parts that go in to their cars. I started to figure this out when I saw the factory aluminum wheels on my '79 firebird were stamped ''western wheel'' on the inside of the rim

there,s nothing wrong with them. i have a aftermarket 1 on my oldsmobile.

man u should be good i have a 96 z28 i put on after market cats about 75,000 miles ago because my stock ones where bad, i only paid about 50 or so dollars for the cheapest ones i could find and i havent had a single problem yet, i even passed all my emission tests with them on.
