The engine block is a 76 model bored .30 over, has 64cc camel hump heads, a quadrajet i dont know the cfm, a 284 crane cam, i believe the crank has been lightened and balanced. It will get up and go already but i wanna know what other things can i do to add more horse power besides NOS or any forced induciton. Can you put power pulleys on this engine?
ok sorry i didnt add these details i already have headers with 2.5 exhaust with super 44 flowmasters turned down before the axle. and i also have a 2800 stall.

How about headers.A set of super comp headers will help with a really good exhaust system.Sure power pulleys will help but the cost will be more than a nos system. Some of the pulleys are 200.00 or more a piece. How about a ring and pinion change.Maybe a 4.10 will help.If you got an automatic a stall converter will also help out.

You could get a KN Air filter that adds an extra 10-15hp for cheap to. You can also change your spark plugs for a shorter arm or a better quality set like Bosch instead of NGK. The better your spark plugs the more your engines uses it power more efficiently and the more efficiently you engine uses power means more horsepower. Not a bunch more power but still it will be noticeable and you will get better fuel mileage too. Now if its the original Q-Jet from a 76 350 then it must be a 750 so its a big sucker as it is and they already make sufficient power. But they also make good Just in case Carburetors when you blow a Holley 4160 (Boy have I done that a bunch makes me wish i bought a 4150 HP.)
