Alright I have a 2004 5.3 V8 Chevy SIlverado and I'm interested in adding an exhaust, I want it to be loud and have a deep sound to it so I've made up my mind to install a flowmaster 44 muffler. The thing is I don't want to pay 300 dollars just yet so can I just install the muffler with no pipes behind it because I will add the custom pipes later? Also the reason I'm not just leaving the stock pipes on is because to do that I will need to buy a flowmaster single in single out and I don't want to do that because I plan on adding dual out pipes in the future but my question is, can I install the muffler and have no pipes behind it?
