99 Suburban needs an engine.

I was just recently told that my Chevy Suburban needs a new engine. The truck only has 93,000 miles on it. It's a 5.7L V8 is it worth it? What are my options? Any help would be great.

I would get a second opinion. 93K is barely broken in unless it has been neglected. Did something break?
