Ok. had some guy install a used engine in the 99 Suburban 5.7. I drove the donor truck 200 miles from where I bought it with no problems at all so I know the engine was good. I got the truck back from the installer and it showed codes for low circuit voltage and cam position sensor. Upon looking at cam sensor plug behing the distributor I found he had it wedged between the block and bellhousing. Plug has been replaced and plugged into the distributor and codes cleared. However after a few miles the check engine light comes back on. Is there a fuse for the cam position sensor that could have blown. Also changed out mass airflow sensor and it too is still coming up in the codes as not working
