I have a 98 Suburban 1500 2x4 that is in needs the front suspension replaced, and I also have a 95 Chevy Silverado 1500 4x4 that has good front end. Is it passable to swap the 4x4 front suspension over to the 2wd and still run it as a 2wd? I am on permanent disability and a fixed income, and at this point if this will work it is my only option. I know that I could just convert the 2wd to 4wd but that isn't what I want to do, I want to keep it as a 2wd.

what part of the 98 has to be replaced, typically the whole suspension doesnt require replacing.

none of the part numbers for those parts on the two vehicles are the same

I know this, my question is will the 4wd A arms and knuckles bolt up to the 2wd? The 99 Burbs and Silverados 2wd hubs are set up alot like the 4wd hubs, the only visual differences I see is that the 4wd hubs have a splined hole on the center for the axle. And will the 98 ABS system recognise the 95 ABS sensors?

check with a junk yard that has a Hollander Interchange guide.
