98 chevy malibu running rough ?

when in gear runs well when i stop for a light it idles very rough and almost konks out what is wrong help dont have much money to go to mechanics

Sounds like your timing might be off. Check your distributor cap and make sure all your spark plug wires are connected. Also you might pull your plugs and see if they are corroded or the gap is off.

not enough info really. what engine is it? check fuel pressure regulator. Thats common on these

Try some injector cleaner and a set of plugs to start. This may save you a lot of money in the future.
