I have a '97 K1500 Suburban with 171,000 miles. I hear a clunk when stopping; downshifting from 2nd to 1st. This is the only time. I've seen lots of posts in upshifting; but nothing on downshifting from 2nd to 1st. It's getting slightly more pronounced since starting 6 months ago.
It's seems that I had some sort of yoke deviced replaced on my transmission about 75,000 miles ago. How about the transfer case?
