...or so then blow hot someone help? i have a 97 chevy malibu and the a/c is blowing hot. i charged it with r-134a a couple of times. and it keeps losing pressure every couple of days. i tried stop leak and even refrigerant with sealer in it. it just wont hold the charge what do i do?

it could be a 0-ring leaking. when you fill it up the next time put some sealer in it. you can get r-134 with the sealer and oil in the can.

You have a leak.Go to napa and get the 134 that supposed to fix leaks at least it will have dye in it where you can find the leak,Also you might want to take it too a mechanic

an air conditioning system that is working properly, and with no leaks should never need to be "re-charged". that term is confusing, and actually illegal. there is obviously a leak in your system, a line a fitting, etc. there is a compressor, an evaporator, and other lines that could all be leaking. there is no such thing as a "sealer refrigerant" get it to an AC repair shop they will "pressurize" the system with nitrogen and find the leak and repair it.

if you are trying to fix it yourself, 1st you have to find the leak, put some dye in it and you can see where it is leaking, then replace the part
