96 Suburban Mirror

My rear view mirror is giving me fits! The lever at the bottom of the mirror is frozen and I am unable to set it. It froze is the position used to reduce glare at night. In the day, the mirror is difficult to view, as it appears darker.

Can the mirror be replaced?? I guess the better question is: What can I do to get this mirror to work properly?

Have you tried spraying a lubricant, WD40 etc., into the lever mechanism?
