I have a 95 Chevy Suburban. K1500. Its been having issues with a high
rev at idle, chugging and occasional stalling. It also does it when
city driving, but not so much on the highway, but has gotten to the
point I have to shift into neutral at every stoplight. In the past
month the following have all been changed:
TPS
EGR Valve
Cap, rotor, wires, plugs,
Distributor computer
pickup coil
air flow sensor
entire new fuel sending unit, pump and gas tank,
starter
alternator
entire new throttle body
cap sensor
but it just seems to be getting worse with each "fix" and every
mechanic is telling me something different. Fairly new exhaust system
on it....less than one year old, but have not had a chance to take a
look at the cat. Any ideas? I'm ready to push this thing over a
cliff.....
Great suggestions......but also something we have done....I just forgot to mention it.
