I was wondering how you would go about removing the dashboard from a '95 Chevy Silverado properly instead of just tearing it off and maybe breaking or cracking it. I am trying to put in a new radio, taking the stock radio out. Any feedback would be great.

Turn ignition key to run possition , do not start vehicle. Pull transmission shifter all they way down. Next with your fingertips firmly pull at top of instrument pannel bessel ( dash) to remove. The bessel is just snapped nto place with metal clips. Ive never broken on so dont worry too much about that. Then disconnect the wring harness from bessel. You then will have access to the screws holding the radio in.

Start by pulling the lower panels off and looking for screws holding that front bezel around the radio on.

The way dash's are put together, panels will hide screws for other panels, which are hiding other screws for a third panel... If you think you're forcing a little too much, look for a screw so you don't break anything.
