Have a 94 suburban. I am wanting to know if there is a way of putting in a more economical engine with better gas miliage. Maybe there is a fuel injection kit that will retro fit the stock engine that is there now or maybe for that year they came out with a six cylinder engine.

cannt imagine the cost of the conversion being able to make up for any kind of mileage increase. You can look at aftermarket FI kits from companies such as Holley.

you would need the engine and the computer and the minor gain wouldnt be worth the cost.
Have you done a complete tuneup on your current engine?
If the mileage on the engine is over 100k have you done a compression test?
