94 a 95?

I have a 94 chevy according to the vin number, but some 94 parts do not fit very well, such as exhaust stuff, am I imagining this as my error or do some cars have a make up of 2 years or just getting the wrong parts from the offers on line
 
it could be the manufacturer of the parts is not very accurate in their reproduction of the original parts.
