94 1500 not running

first time poster hope im doing this right. I have a 94 1500 with a 350. only use as a plow truck. recently will run for 5-10 minutes before it dies and will not start again. If I wait some time it will start and idle, but once warmed up you just touch the gas and it dies and won't start again. I've replaced cap, rotor and fuel filter with no change. After discussing with some other backyard mechanics I decided to replace the fuel pump/sending unit in the tank, with no luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

yes there is a check engine light on, that has been on for the last couple of years

Pull your engine control module and take it to your closest Autozone or Advance and have them test it. Sometimes when they get warmed up, they crap out.
