87 chevy silverado duel tank question.?

If i took the driver side tank off would it affect the passenger side? (do they feed off each other in any way?)

The passenger side tank is the only one that works and the driver side isn't needed. (Its also got some foul stuff in it from sitting i guess)
It does have a switch to switch the tanks but only has 2 tanks (left and right)

I'd take it off and plug the line that goes to it.

My old '70 GMC had saddle tanks on each side, with a tube connecting the two, but I think they quit doing that by the time they made your truck. Best thing though is to get down there and check for sure. I assume yours has a switch to change from tank to tank? Mine did too, but it was to switch between the in-cab tank (right behind the seat!), and the saddle tanks.
