78 Nova fuel gage

I am building my Nova and have an issue with several things. I'll start with the fuel gage. It shows a half tank when empty but goes past full when full. I hate to buy a tank sensor if not needed. Any ideas would be helpful.

Check for a broken ground wire first. It may save you some work.

My next problem is with the front seats. I can't find any seats that have the bracket for the seatbelt strap on them.

Can't help you with the seat thing. Have you looked at Year One? Maybe they'll have something.

This is not a wiring issue because the reading does change. It is possible the float arm will need to be bent to read more accurately.

On the seats, are you just looking for the stock replacement guide or a different seat with guides?

As far as the seats go I am looking for anything that will fit and have the seat belt guide. I really don't want to put racing seats in it.

The 75 - 97 Camaro/Firebird had them, so did the 78 - 87 G body cars. If the top of the seat has a metal frame the seat belt guide can be added to any seat. Just need somewhere solid under the upholstery to attach it. I think i have one new set left for the 75 - 79 Nova seats. Would have to clean the shop to find them

These are the ones I have. Took the photo right after I purchased them, need to try and find them.
