I'm in the middle of restoring a 74 L-48 (fiberglass floorpans). When I removed the carpet and padding, it appeared that the seats were bolted into the car by just drilling them through the fiberglass. They weren't drilled into the frame under the car, and didn't appear to have been mounted to anything other than the fiberglass floorpans. Does anyone know if this is normal? The build manual doesn't give enough detail to tell. I'm putting Mitsubishi Eclipse seats into the car, and the rails are close, but I'll have to drill new holes to mount them. Thanks in advance.
