Never heard the term sloppy when it comes to wiper blades. If you have a Walmart nearby they carry RainX blades and have a catalog at the display to look up the correct blade.Good day. I am wondering if I can just buy replacement wiper blades to go into the wiper arms on my 22? Or what is recommended since "normal " store wipers are to sloppy.
I'm somewhat confused by your terminology. The arm is what swings from the pivot and the blade attaches to the end of the arm. Why are you changing the arms and not the blades? Or are you referring to a blade refill which is no longer used on modern cars?Good day. Being in Texas the heat destroys wipers. I really like the factory arms due to the rigidity of them. I wish I could just replace the blades as we used to be able to do into the arms. The OEM arms keep the wiper pressed against the window unlike some from the store where the ends get " sloppy " and not make contact well. Glad I could join. Have a blessed day.
Did you look at the different types of RainX blades that fit your car?The OEM blades are made with a heavy plastic " cover " and they supprt they blade that contacts the window. They are better. Aftermarket blades do not have the support at the end of the blade like the OEM that contacts the window which in turn does not give it a good contact. The blade at the end becomes "sloppy " and loses it contact patch. My main question I guess should have been, " which brand best resembles the OEM in regards to strength so my wiper gets good contact with the window ". I can buy OEM but often we know at a higher cost. I appreciate your response and apologize for not being clearer.
