2017 Suburban P3401 code 5.3l

I have a check engine light on with two codes, P3401 and P0420. I understand the second code but no idea about the P3401. Is there experience among this group with this code, and recommendations for remedy?

Your engine has the cylinder deactivation feature. There is an issue with the #1 cylinder solenoid.

I don't know the skill level of your mechanic or whether he has the diagnostic tools. Just ask him if he is comfortable working on a cylinder deactivation issue.
