My 2017 silverado problem started with infotainment unit (radio/ac) cutting out momentarily and engine would bog down like it was turning off, then come right back to normal. I took it in twice and the dealership couldn’t find anything wrong except a few low voltage signals coming from the infotainment interface. They said they could replicate the issue and sent me on my way, both times. More recently it does the same thing, except now it will die on me and just yesterday after I shut it down, it didn’t want to start back up. It eventually did and it’s been driving like normal.
I originally asked the dealership to check the grounds, because I saw that was an issue for some people but they said everything was good. I’m concerned about this issue because I don’t want to be at speed and the truck turns off and the steering locks up.
