I bought a 2016 Suburban LTZ in Sept with 47K miles on it. Sometimes on the highway I get a stabiltrac warning light and my radio screen and instrument cluster goes out for 15-20 seconds. The other night I was driving on some dark roads and using my high beams on and off and it would happen again but one time the car shut down. I put it in park and restarted the car and it started up fine. I have avoided using my high beams because of this. Has anyone had this happen to them?? I also own a 2013 Suburban LT that I've never had a problem with so I am wondering if this is a generational issue or an issue that Chevy is aware of. Thanks in advance.

Have you checked all battery connections for tightness and lack of corrosion?

Service bulletin 18-NA-161 sounds like your problem.

Is this something that is taken care of (financially) at the dealer level or do I as the consumer gave to have this diagnosed at the dealer and pay for this myself??

It's a service bulletin not a recall. If under bumper to bumper warranty covered otherwise dealer or private shop on your dime.
